Kuala Lumpur, September 4 (Xinhua) - Malaysian Minister of Transport Liao Zhongli said in Kuala Lumpur on April 4 that Malaysia and China have five more ports to join the "China-Malaysia Port Alliance."

He noted that China's Jingtang Port and Tianjin Port, as well as Malaysia's Gamma, Sabah and Kuching ports, joined the alliance to enhance cooperation in the port of Ma, including port research, training and internships, technical support, Exchange information and traffic development, and promote trade services between ports.

In November 2015, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Transport of Malaysia signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of Port Alliance Relations between the two countries in Malaysia. The memorandum of understanding is the first cooperation document signed by China and Malaysia in the field of port cooperation. It is an important step for China and Malaysia to build the "Marble Silk Road in the 21st Century", aiming at project cooperation, personnel training, information exchange, Technical support, enhance services and other means to promote cooperation between China and Malaysia port to carry out extensive cooperation and common commitment to the construction of interconnection between the two countries to build the two sides and even the entire ASEAN region more extensive interconnection shipping network, to further enhance the "21st century Maritime Silk Road "The level of trade, investment and logistics transport facilitation across countries.

Subsequently, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Transport of Malaysia and the Ministry of Communications, through the study and consultation, formally formed the "China-Malaysia Port Union", the alliance covers Dalian Port, Taicang Port, Shanghai Port, Ningbo Zhoushan Port, Fuzhou Port, Xiamen Port, Guangzhou Port, Shenzhen Hong Kong, Hong Kong, Hong Kong, Hong Kong, Hong Kong and other 10 Chinese ports and Port Klang, Mindu Lu Hong Kong, Johor Harbor, Guan Dang Port, Malacca Port, Penang Port and other six horse port.
